Total Security Solutions Construction Installation Manager in Fowlerville, Michigan

Summary:

This Installation Manager will play a key role in ensuring installations are completed in a timely and accurate manner as well as having a final touch on customer service and assuring the customer is satisfied.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads team of traveling installers, field measure technician and scheduling coordinator.

  • Coordinate all installations, including schedules, mapping schedules, and routes to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Maintain, organize, and file project and job paperwork.

  • Assist project managers with shipping logistics and job tracking.

  • Communicate tracking information for shipped jobs to customers.

  • Process invoices and PO’s for shippers and vendors.

  • Manage repairs

  • Manage subcontractors

  • Review schedules, work orders and invoices.

  • Review Installation reports and resolve any issues.

  • Occasional travel to job sites (up to 50%).

  • Customer Service

  • Fastpass administration

  • Responsible for managing installation trucks

  • DOT compliance

    Competencies:

  • Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization, using verbal and written distribution channels.

  • Optimizes organizational effectiveness and prioritizes workload, even with multiple interruptions.

  • Adjusts promptly and calmly to change, works well as part of a team, and remains calm under pressure.   Maintains a collaborative work ethic and commitment to excellence in dealing with internal and external customers.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience scheduling projects of various sizes and complexities.

  • Construction experience helpful but not required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and phone skills.

  • Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time.

  • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.

  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Able to read maps and calculate drive time.

    Special Position Requirements:

  • Travel required (up to 25%) as well as irregular schedule due to customer installation requirements.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.

  • Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.

  • Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery

    Work Environment:

  • This job takes place in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.  Office employees are required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and a highly visible vest at all times in production areas and labs.
