Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the initiatives that drive results measured by supplier responsiveness, process and service improvements and productivity through the supply chain. This person will oversee the procurement, receipt and movement of raw materials for the manufacture of finished goods.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily procurement of raw materials and purchase-finished products from suppliers for TSS.
Support inventory initiatives and forecasting, including the management of stock levels and reorder points.
Participate in Quarterly Inventory
Assist in developing solutions that minimize impact on production profitability
Build and maintain relationships with vendors
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding products and product delays
Documentation, controlling and communicating all supplier quality concerns for TSS. This includes sending supplier complaints to suppliers, requesting root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring corrective actions are in place and communicating results back to the Director of Administration and Production Manager (as appropriate).
Create and maintain product module in internal CRM system

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field
3-5 years in industrial procurement
A working knowledge of industrial materials and their relationship to products is required.
Physical Requirements:
Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.
Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, such as safety glasses and safety shoes, at all times in the production area.
Work Environment:
- This job takes place in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Office employees are required to wear safety glasses and safety shoes in production areas.
