As a Switchboard Warranty Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of switchboard products during the warranty period. You will collaborate closely with customers, field technicians, and internal engineering teams to investigate, and resolve any issues that arise with switchboard installations. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to uphold the company's warranty commitments and customer satisfaction.

You will make an impact by:

• Warranty Claim Analysis: Manage the process of warranty claims submitted by customers, including documentation, tracking, and resolution in accordance with company policies and procedures, to identify trends, patterns, and common issues.

• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and field technicians regarding switchboard installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance during the warranty period.

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Work with alongside Quality to investigate reported issues with switchboard installations to identify root causes, analyze technical data, and propose effective solutions to resolve problems promptly.

• Coordination with Field Technicians: Collaborate with field technicians to schedule site visits, inspect switchboard installations, and conduct on-site assessments to assess warranty claims and determine appropriate actions.

• Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on warranty claim status, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the resolution process.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, technical support interactions, and resolution activities. Prepare detailed reports and analysis to track warranty performance metrics and identify trends for continuous improvement.

• Training and Education: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for field technicians and customer service teams to enhance their understanding of switchboard products, troubleshooting techniques, and warranty procedures.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Previous experience in Manufacturing, Quality or similar role within the electromechanical industry.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis software, Excel, and database management systems.

• Understanding of electromechanical systems & strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $101,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
