Lockheed Martin is looking for an Engineer to continue our 75 year tradition of developing new air-vehicle systems. This position will support the Utility and Subsystems (U&S) competency based in Fort Worth, Texas. The candidate will expect to be working extensively with other Aeronautics engineering disciplines and supporting vendors/suppliers. Travel in support of the program efforts may also be required. Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and presentation skills are highly desirable.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires a DoD security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, or related Engineering discipline

- Prior experience with design, integration,

performance, functionality of aircraft Escape Systems focusing on Transparency Removal Systems, Flexible Linear Shaped Charge Assemblies, and Rapid Deflagrating Cord Transfer Lines.

- Prior experience with major aircraft subsystem development and qualification program

Desired Skills:

- Prior experience with F-35 program documentation, tools, and processes

- Prior experience developing requirements when interfacing with suppliers/vendors

- Prior experience reviewing supplier data requirement submittals

- Prior experience with CATIA

- Prior experience with PDM

- Prior experience with supplier technical management and customer coordination

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
