Supply Chain Contracts Associate – New Aircraft Development Programs:

Bell has an opening in our Fort Worth, TX headquarters for an inquisitive and driven individual with a passion for aerospace to support Bell’s New Aircraft Development Programs while helping us build a world-class global supply chain team.

In this role, you can expect to be responsible for establishing optimal positions in procurement contracts that enable the Supply Chain Organization and aircraft development Programs to achieve their strategic objectives. You will work directly with engineers in the Integrated Product Teams to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft systems.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Supply Chain Contracts Associate:

  • Evaluate new, current and existing suppliers for the acquisition of goods and services in support of new aircraft development programs.

  • Prepare and issue requests for proposal (RFPs) and facilitate the proposal evaluation and supplier down-selection process.

  • Review, evaluate, draft, and negotiate various types of business documents (e.g., Short & Long-Term Contracts, RFP, Terms and Conditions, Proprietary Information Exchange Agreements, Teaming Agreements, etc.) in compliance with Bell policies and procedures to achieve Program objectives.

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers, peers, and internal stakeholders across Bell’s engineering, manufacturing, finance, and development program teams.

  • Build a working knowledge ofFederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and standard SCM policies and procedures.

Qualifications

What You Will Need to be Successful :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Economics, Industrial Management, or Organization Management Required

  • 0-2 Years Relevant Experience

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft applications including, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare appropriate, quality documentation.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize while learning on the fly, and a passion for aerospace and defense industry.

  • Preference for USG acquisitions, strategic sourcing, commodity management and/or contract experience, financial analysis, cost analysis of commodity/raw materials, understanding of direct/indirect commodity pricing.
