Lockheed Martin Sr Manager, Materials and Processes - Level 6 in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Senior Manager for the Materials & Processes (M&P)/Components Engineering Functional team will support multiple programs within Aeronautics programs across the Fort Worth, Marietta, Greenville, and Palmdale Sites. This position, reporting to the Structures and PMP Director in Fort Worth, will ensure staffing and budget alignment to meet Aero Commitments within the directorate. The selected candidate will lead the Parts, Materials and Processes team in resolving technical and operational issues, with focus on proactive risk assessments of critical material supply to enable production and sustainment program execution. This will include certification of additional suppliers and relevant specifications to enable efficient execution. They will also partner with our advanced materials and technology development team to transition opportunities of advanced technology to a production environment

Basic Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience.
- Technical leadership capability within challenging technical, cost and schedule constraints.
- M&P technical background in one or more of the following areas: composites, metallic materials, sealants, adhesives, and finishes.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in M&P predictive, collaborative and risk prevention support of materials supply chain.
- Demonstrated experience with M&P Standards and Specifications,
- Demonstrated experience in material and process qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing support by M&P.
- Familiarity with IRAD / New Business Fund project development process.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management process.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as presentation skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
