SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Bilingual Receptionist is welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, while answering or referring to inquiries.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains telecommunication system by answering incoming phone calls, greeting customers, and following the manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
- Provides clients with information, in both English and Spanish.
- Tracks all incoming packages and distributes to appropriate employees.
- Maintains office supplies by monitoring inventory and placing orders when necessary.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions.
- Maintains security by following procedures.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed or requested.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Air-conditioned office environment.
Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sit for extended periods of time.
Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
Extended keyboarding.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Fully Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong telephone skills with experience handling a high volume of incoming calls.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional support and addressing client needs professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Supply Management is a plus.
