Quality Control Inspector - Quality Tech
Location: North Fort Worth, Texas
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm
Job Summary:
As a Quality Tech, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet stringent quality, safety, and efficiency standards, satisfying customer requirements. You'll inspect materials and products using precise measuring instruments, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Major Responsibilities:
Audit and inspect raw materials, component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods for compliance with specifications.
Maintain electronic processes and paperwork, including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blueprints, and shipping/receiving documents.
Uphold departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
Calibrate equipment to established guidelines.
Generate non-conformance reports for materials not meeting specifications.
Support production personnel with quality training.
Conduct process compliance audits.
Required Skills:
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete for extended periods.
Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
Climb and balance as necessary.
Use hands for tool operation.
Visual inspection of products.
Work in a non-temperature controlled environment.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma.
1-3 years of related experience.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Intermediate math and reading comprehension skills.
Ability to use measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Basic time-management skills.
Safe and effective utilization of required equipment.
