Universal Engineering Sciences Geotechnical Lab Technician in Fort Worth, Texas
UES is looking for an experienced, Geotechnical Lab Technician to assist with testing and sample tracking of materials used in exciting projects around the Fort Worth area. As a Geotechnical Lab Technician, you will provide a vital step in the overall building process, ensuring materials used during construction meet all necessary quality benchmarks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Moisture content tests
Atterberg tests
Unconfined tests
Minus 200 tests
pH tests
Swell tests
Hand penetrometer
Soil identification and classification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a valid ACI Laboratory I Testing Technion certification is preferred
Possession of any TxDOT SB102, SB103, SD201 certifications for soils is a plus
