Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to announce a Full Time Physician Assistant opportunity to work with a skilled, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care designed to promote healing. Position Details
Full Time Monday-Friday, hours flexible as driven by the OR schedule and need of patients
Surgical Assist with experienced general orthopedic surgeon
See patients in the clinic and perform inpatient consults/follow ups
Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

Requirements Needed to Apply:
Active Texas license
Strong Communication Skills
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
Ortho surgical experience preferred
First assist surgical experience required
Education Master's Degree Physician Assisstant Req Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Upon Hire Req Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making. Supervision Individual Contributor ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67% or more
Mechanical Hazards 1-33%
Electrical Hazards 1-33% OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Physical Demands Light Work
