KPS Global, LLC Construction Services Project Coordinator in Fort Worth, Texas

KPSG’s end-product serves many channels within the retail food market as well as industrial applications. KPSG is based in Fort Worth, Texas with Engineering activities centralized in the Fort Worth facility (along with Finance, Human Resources, Customer Operations, Sales, and Installation Services), supporting product manufacturing in four locations: Fort Worth; Piney Flats, TN; and Goodyear, AZ; San Dimas, CA; and Conyers, GA.

As a Construction Project Coordinator at KPS Global, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and clients to ensure seamless project execution. Your primary focus will be on maintaining strong relationships, clear communication, and meticulous documentation to uphold our standards of excellence.

Required Skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up new projects, managing contracts, and establishing schedules of values

  • Selecting and vetting contractors, overseeing project scheduling, and tracking permits, licenses, and insurance

  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely updates and resolve any issues

  • Managing project documentation, including change requests, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports

  • Coordinating purchase orders, contractor invoices, and working closely with the Finance Department on revenue nominations

  • Overseeing project closeout activities

Required Experience

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a construction project coordinator or similar role

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Expedition, AutoDesk Build, MS Project, ProjectMates, Smartsheet, or Primavera

  • Strong mathematical skills and experience with project budgets, change orders, and pay applications

  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookup, and calculations

  • Familiarity with document-management software such as SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, or Laserfiche

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office

  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving

  • Experience working autonomously and resolving project-related issues or conflicts

  • A service-oriented mindset, with a passion for helping both your team and customers

Nice to Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry supporting project managers or field engineers

  • Familiarity with plan-reading, CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical documents

  • Strong knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, building systems/components, contract management, and project delivery methods

  • Background in construction finance and revenue nomination

  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Infor Cloudsuite Industrial Version 11 (CSI-11)

  • Certifications in construction or engineering best practices and software (e.g., PMI), or a willingness to obtain certifications
