Robert Half Collections Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is within the finance industry and will be situated in a traditional office setting. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining detailed customer records.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit and collections.
• Maintain dialogue with customers, facilitating conversations that may be challenging.
• Utilize Infor and Microsoft Excel to manage and track customer accounts.
• Process and manage billing and accounts receivables.
• Utilize various accounting software systems including Accurint, Great Plains (GPAC), and IBM AS/400.
• Demonstrate resilience and motivation in managing customer accounts.
• Utilize strong customer service skills to manage relationships with customers.
• Conduct collection processes and follow up on outstanding customer accounts.
• Demonstrate self-starter characteristics in managing and resolving customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and act accordingly based on the information. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Accurint
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Experience with IBM AS/400
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Understanding of Billing Functions
• Experience in Collection Processes
• Proven work experience as a Collector
• Knowledge of Credit processes
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
