Universal Engineering Sciences CMT Project Manager in Fort Worth, Texas
UES is looking for a CMT Project Manager for our Fort Worth location. This position will be responsible for interacting with clients and team members to manage construction material testing projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project coordination and project management of construction materials testing (CMT) work from small to large scale projects through completion.
Monitor project budgets and produce change orders when necessary
Analyze, review and prepare various reports for clients for commercial, industrial, government and residential projects.
Do regular field inspections to assess the site, employees, and make contact with managing personnel in the field.
Be available for client consultation as requested.
Conduct regular interface meetings with the employees that will be reporting to you under the mentee program as well as those employees who are working on your projects.
Conduct meetings with clients and UES personnel for job starts, pier starts and other pertinent start-up times as outlined by client contracts or UES management.
Maintain open communication with project teams to keep them up to date on project process and any concerning issues.
Promote a safe working environment by following UES guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of project management experience or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership skills.
Valid Texas driver license.
Preferred: PE License in Texas.
