Texas Health Resources Clinical Lab Assistant PRN - Processing/Receiving in Fort Worth, Texas

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth seeks to hire a Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time in their laboratory. This position will be in receiving/processing and will have no phlebotomy.

The address is 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132.

Salary range is Minimum $14.15/hr. to Maximum $22.42/hr. – based on relevant experience

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time; 2 nd Shifts

  • Primary hours will be Monday – Friday; 14:30 – 23:00

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

  • Completion of one course in phlebotomy preferred

  • 6 months experience as a phlebotomist and/or processing experience preferred

  • Previous healthcare experience highly preferred

License and Certification:

  • PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician Upon Hire preferred

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Proficient in basic computer skills

  • Prefer: Venipuncture skills with all age groups
