Lockheed Martin Billings, Collections, and Project Accounting Senior Manager in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: The Billings, Collections, and Project Accounting Senior Manager leads an organization responsible for the Aeronautics Business Area's billings and project systems. Interacts with external stakeholders, including the United States Government, and internal business personnel to advise on the company’s application of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR/FAR) while coordinating with her or his team to investigate and resolve compliance questions. Partners with program finance and shared services teams on new business and contracting structures. Starts with “yes” to create innovative solutions that address new opportunities and challenges resulting from SAP business and digital transformation, 1LMX. Improves and maintains business process compliance with Lockheed Martin, DFAR/FAR, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements by working across functions, Global Financial Services, and Lines of Business to drive contract actions for optimal cash collection. Distills complex working capital drivers and presents reports of findings and recommendations to management and business personnel.
Responsible for coordinating team members’ recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Facilitates team member development and builds a healthy pipeline of leadership for the future of the Controller's organization. Leads a “One Team” culture of cross-business partnering and problem-solving while maintaining necessary focus on compliance and adherence to principles of accounting.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Experience in DFAR/FAR guidance and related interpretations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SAP.

• Analytical skills to identify complex problems, review related information, and develop and evaluate options to implement solutions.

• Experience working in the aerospace industry or with defense contracts.
• Experience with US GAAP, CAS, and applicable interpretive guidance.
• Experience using data analytics and other digital finance transformation tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) to improve the efficiency of accounting-related processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
