Job Description
Bakers are responsible for preparing baked goods, such as breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and pies.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, and pies.
Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
Mix batters and knead dough, shaping it into various forms.
Apply glazes, icings, and other toppings to baked goods.
Keep track of inventory and supplies to ensure products meet quality standards.
Develop new recipes or adapt existing ones.
Interact with customers to address questions and requests.
Adhere to food safety and quality guidelines.
Ensure proper storage of baking utensils and prepared products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in baking, including mixing and batching.
Ability to follow recipes accurately.
Experience in measuring and weighing ingredients, mixing batters, kneading dough, and shaping it into various forms.
Skill in applying glazes, icings, and other toppings to baked goods.
Inventory and supply management skills.
Recipe development and adaptation skills.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
Knowledge of food safety and quality guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Must be able to work from 7 am-3:30pm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $16.25
