Actalent Airframe Design Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Title: Airframe Design Engineer

Job Description

This on-site position is offered in Fort Worth, Texas. The Airframe Design Engineer will create detail, assembly, and installation airframe 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering bill of materials. Responsibilities include reviewing design definitions to ensure compliance with requirements, participating in conceptual, preliminary, and detail design stages under supervision, and coordinating with other teams to resolve issues while adhering to program schedules and cost requirements. Additionally, the engineer will assist in researching data and developing solutions for projects and assignments, advancing the state-of-the-art through innovative thought and strong analysis skills.

Hard Skills

  • Technical design experience with at least 2 years of airframe design

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DX

  • Proficiency with general part sizing and familiarity with GD&T

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Soft Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Worth, Texas.
