Lockheed Martin Air System Verification Engineer Principal - Level 6 in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Seeking an experienced engineering professional looking for an opportunity in a challenging, fast paced, high visibility environment requiring balance between engineering skills, technical awareness, and strategic thinking to ensure successful execution of verification scope.
This exciting position is a technical lead position on the Enterprise Verification and Validation Systems Engineering team for the F-35 and ADP Programs. Specific tasks will include the following:
- Defining system verification requirements, analyzing, decomposing and allocating system requirements to all areas of the Air System, including Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, Weapons, ALIS, Training, and Support Equipment
- Defining system level verification activities through the development of verification requirements and pass criteria to ensure the Air System requirements are being verified through the assessment of program analysis, test and demonstration activities across all areas of the Air System.
-Responsible for mentoring junior verification engineering staff and developing tools and strategies to manage an increasing number of verification requirements in an Agile and Model Based System Engineering environment
-Responsible for communicating verification strategies and furthering the adoption of MBSE strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering or related technical
degree
- Experience in one or more of systems
engineering, lab/test environment, or program
management discipline (project engineering, architecture,
requirements, design, analysis, integration,
verification)
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of overall F-35 air system or similar air system, design,
contracts and processes.
-Strong Technical Leadership Experience
-Strong task coordination and communication
skills (both verbal and written)
-Cameo or other SysML experience
-Experience with written, verbal, and
presentation communications skills, including
briefing to stakeholders outside of current
team, leadership, and customer
representatives.
-Experience conducting Air System Performance Analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
