A Day in the Life of a Supplier Quality Intern:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build world-class suppliers and operations team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As a Supplier Quality Intern at Bell, you can expect to support quality development, process improvement, and supplier project management for legacy and new aircraft. In this role, you will review supplier performance. Evaluate and manage improvement opportunities at suppliers (including Root Cause Corrective Action, Supplier Improvement Projects, risk review). Analyze design engineering to determine supplier requirements, develop inspection plans, and process requirements to determine inspect ability for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) using advanced quality tools (failure modes and effects analysis, 8D corrective action, process mapping, measurement system analysis, and control plans). Participate in design requirements analysis to develop new quality control processes (including use of advanced aerospace materials) and validate corrective actions. Coordinate team efforts and measures project performance. Receive assignments and direction from quality engineering management.

Qualifications

What You Will Need :

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in an Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship.

  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship:June 2– August 8, 2025.

  • 3.0 GPA preferred.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Exceptional understanding and application of fundamental engineering processes and principals.

  • Strong statistical analysis capability and computer skills, including CAD/CAM and PC Microsoft programs.

  • Must be able to fulfill the full length of the Summer Intern Program

  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills.
