Aston Carter Sr. HR Generalist in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.

  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including performance reviews and employee development plans.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

  • Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs.

  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.

  • HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00
