CRST has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Early Talent Program within our summer internship program as an Operations Intern within our Specialized Solutions division. CRST’s Specialized Solutions team offers high-value shipping, custom supply chain solutions and project logistics for customers requiring special handling and equipment. Our blanket-wrap, white glove truckload and LTL shipping provides real-time tracking and onsite delivery service to ensure safe, timely and damage-free delivery. Our extensive network and warehouse capacity – encompassing 3.1 million square feet across 60+ locations and more than 1,400 secure third-party facilities – allows us to support customers at every moment in the supply chain, including assembly, order fulfillment, kitting and reverse logistics. And our 60 years of project logistics experience make us the go-to partner to manage projects requiring mixed services and coordination, from a national product rollout to multi-location construction and renovation projects. Our Specialized Solutions division is in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Here is what you can expect:

• Opportunity to build a base of operational knowledge and exposure to company processes & gain experience in the day-to-day operations of CRST.

The Summer Internship Program is where students are exposed to the transportation industry, engaged in real-world problem-solving, and immersed in social and educational opportunities with other interns and leaders across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with different business entities to accomplish company objectives and goals.

Here is what we are looking for:

• Pursuing a business-related 4-year bachelor’s degree from accredited university 

• Sophomore - Junior-level college student pursuing a degree within Business, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Finance or a similar field  

• Minimum 2.5 or above GPA 

• Exhibit a strong work ethic and loyalty 

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills 

• Has strong aspirations for future success in business or management 

• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership  

• Prior coursework, internship, or work experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively. 

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel. 

• Basic oral and written communication skills 

• Maximizes relationships, fosters collaboration, and builds trust 

Here is some other helpful information:

• Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate courses at least the fall semester following the summer internship.

• Interns who successfully complete the Early Talent Program are considered for full-time positions within CRST upon graduation with additional benefits.
