Part Time Days
Schedule: 24 hours per week
Job Summary:
- To render Cardiac and vascular expertise and related assistance to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiovascular Laboratories.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Licensure:
Current Indiana State Board of Health General Certificate for Radiographers
Current state licensure and registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
BCLS within 30 days of hire
SAMA Level 1 within 30 days of hire
AACN EKG within 60 days of hire
ACLS within 6 months of hire
Experience:
- Previous Cath Lab experience preferred, but not required.
Education:
- Graduate of accredited radiography program.
Job Summary:
Requires thorough working knowledge of radiographic methodologies and equipment utilized in the performance of invasive procedures for use in interventional radiographic services.
Requires general working knowledge of normal growth, development, related behaviors, needs, comfort, and range of treatment appropriate age, including child, adolescent, aging adult) and diagnosis of patients served to support the provision of an individualized multidisciplinary plan of care.
Demonstrates analytical and organizational skills in order to conduct appropriate testing, interpret validity and quality of diagnostic service performed and follow-up with medical team as appropriate.
Demonstrates well-developed communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external customers as needed. Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
