Job Title: Electronic Technician

Job Description

The Electronic Test Technician is responsible for building custom prototype circuit boards, designing tests, and programming fixtures for HVAC climate control products built for the manufacturing floor. Duties include designing, fabricating, building, and wiring of test fixtures, writing and debugging test systems, specifying test fixtures per engineers' requests.

Hard Skills

  • Associates degree or higher in electronics

  • 5+ years of electronic tech experience using and creating test fixtures

  • Experience with electrical schematics and PCB layout understanding

  • Experience soldering and fabricating PCB boards

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work with Design Engineers on New Product Development

  • Schematic review and construction of test fixtures for custom/prototype boards

  • Troubleshooting electronics

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Work Environment

Will be working in a test lab 100% of the time, involving a mixture of computer work and hands-on building and fabricating boards.
