[Job Title: Account Clerk *[(30987) *[Join Purdue University Fort Wayne: [We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site, *Account Clerk in our Facilities Management (FM) office. [This position ensures efficient and timely completion of office operations, act as the lead Business Assistant by leading and guiding other Business Assistants in the office and in Facilities Management.[ The pay for this position is $17.00/hr. - Maintain Accounting records, oversee key production, establish processes for standard tasks, coordinate staff payroll and leaves.
- Identify and reconcile Ariba invoicing issues.
- Maintain records and reconcile balances and resolve discrepancies for FM purchases of materials/supplies.
- Audit, review, and ensure contracts are invoiced and processed correctly to ensure timely coverage.
- Prepare and process paperwork, determine recharges for internal billing, and recommend budget adjustments as needed.
- Maintain personnel records and files using Success Factors.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping, make adjustments and corrections as necessary, process additional payments when needed.
- Assist in on-boarding, recruitment, timekeeping and other functions related to payroll.
- Assist with the recording of utility usage for analysis by management.
- Maintain accounting records for Campus Box Office and Special Events, making entries to financially close events an ensure proper payments to performers and/or promoters
- Process deposits for all FM Departments.
- Provide training and assistance to all FM Departments related to financial processes and procedures, and all other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of office experience with payroll, accounting, or other business-related functions.
Valid drivers license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Basic accounting, word processing, spreadsheets, and database experience.
