This position reports to Technical Ops and is based in Fort Washington, PA.

Role reports to: Technical Operations Principal Engineer, Package Development

Location: Fort Washington, PA

Travel %: Domestic up to 10%

Pay: Anticipated hourly pay for this role ($22.75 - $29.00) depending on skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors

What you will do

The Tech Ops Package Development Co-Op provides each student with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and

mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the

country. Multi-functional collaboration provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization and

develop your leadership, analytical, and project management skills to build a strong career foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support package development activities for a broad portfolio of consumer healthcare products including OTC drugs

and dietary supplements

  • Create and/or update packaging component and assembly drawings and material specifications

  • Document all packaging design, development, and testing to comply with internal processes and regulatory

requirements

  • Support package development activities in Manufacturing Operations including packaging line trials

  • Interact with outside suppliers for packaging component development, evaluation, and testing

  • Recommend alternatives and solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and emerging requirements

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's OR Master's degree in

Packaging Engineering/Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, OR related degree

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8

  • Candidates must be diligent, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks

  • Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team

  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term
