Insight Global Desktop Support Technician in Fort St. John, British Columbia
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join one of Calgary's largest oil and gas companies for a 12 month contract with the highly likely possibility of extensions. This opportunity will be 14 days, on 14 days off fly in and out, 12 hour shifts. This individual will be responsible for acting as a cross-functional infrastructure operations team that supports the Montney site (Fort St. John). This role is unique and requires knowledge of mobility, desktop and telecommunications.

Skills and Requirements
-3+ years of experience working as a desktop technician/help desk support
-Experience configuring, troubleshooting, isolates, repairs etc.
-Experience building PC's, solving issues for desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printer, scanners, copiers, hardware peripherals and other desktop related equipment etc.
-Basic networking understanding, decom level 1, how to access a switch etc.
-Quick learner, solve basic problems etc. -Oil and gas
-Any certifications that apply for networking, desktop/help desk null
