Description We are in the process of hiring a Sr. Accountant to be a part of our team. The role will be based in Fort Myers, Florida, and will involve various accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and others. The Sr. Accountant will be integral to our operations, using their skills to ensure our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
• Conducting comprehensive reconciliation of accounts to guarantee accuracy.
• Overseeing and performing balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Handling bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Managing the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate.
• Making regular journal entries for transactions and adjustments.
• Leveraging Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks.
• Participating in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Utilizing NetSuite for various accounting functions. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Must be experienced in Bank Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with the General Ledger is essential.
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures.
