Description

The expected hiring range for this position is $18.00 - $19.25 hourly.

The purpose of this class within the organization is to perform administrative and clerical duties within a department. The class works under close to general supervision according to set procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position works independently performing administrative support work.

  • Duties include; printing work orders; record keeping, telephone techniques, filing systems; and operation of common office equipment and computer hardware and software.

  • Including daily data entry of work orders, time cards, materials, and invoices.

  • Backup for processing electronic Requests; verify information, approve and distribute electronic customer requests to Shops daily.

  • Participates in the Safety Committee attends meetings and takes notes.

  • Maintains files and orders supplies.

  • Administrative Assistant backup.

Education, Experience, Licensing

  • Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent and one year of clerical, customer service, or closely related experience.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Supplemental Information

  • Ability to type 45 wpm preferred.

  • The work days and hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
