Description
We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Fort Myers, Florida. The role is focused on carrying out accounting duties within the team, where you will be handling tasks such as invoicing, account reconciliation, and data entry. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Processing and managing customer credit applications accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer credit records
• Handling invoicing duties with attention to detail
• Resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Utilizing various software tools including QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for daily tasks
• Ensuring all accounts payable and receivable are handled in a professional manner
• Conducting regular account reconciliation to ensure all financial data is correct
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as needed
• Ensuring all billing processes are completed accurately and on time
• Using data entry skills to update and maintain accounting databases and systems.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Ability to handle Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of QuickBooks software
