City Of Fort Lupton Child Care Attendant in Fort Lupton, Colorado
Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday (5-7pm) Starting pay of position: $14.81-$15.50
Monitor and insure safety in the drop-in childcare facility. Provide general programming that is age appropriate. Under the direction of the Recreation Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. Provide general childcare in a controlled environment for children ages 6 months through 7 years of age Enforce policies and procedures Possess positive customer relations Monitor and supervise children that left in care for up to 2 hours at a time

Skill, Knowledge and Ability: Knowledge of pre-school children Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to establish effective working relationship with the public in a mature, responsible and effective manner Ability to enforce rules and follow procedures
Education, Certifications and Experience: Experience working with children Graduated from High School/GED Experience involving public contact Bilingual preferred, but not required CPR, First Aid and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certified or the ability to obtain certifications within 60 days of hire.
Working Environment/Physical Activities: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, squat, talk, hear and see. Light physical effort to handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and on rare occasions over 40 pounds. Position is typically indoors and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
