DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your position entails carrying out both light and heavy manual labor duties to uphold the functionality of Cowans Gap State Park Complex and its outdoor recreational spaces. Tasks may involve working independently on semi-skilled tasks or assisting a skilled worker.
Your responsibilities include maintenance work on structures and amenities using carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other construction tools. Additionally, tasks encompass operating lawn care equipment, various maintenance tools, and gas-powered hand tools for a range of assignments. The job often demands the application of on-the-job skills and presents a diverse set of daily tasks. Another aspect of your role involves custodial-type responsibilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which the employee is placed on leave without pay. Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment: This position requires a possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
