Location: Fort Loramie - Fort Loramie, OH, United States (US) Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time Function: Engineering Req ID: 24208 Position Summary: Complete Electrical Engineering items needed to design, build, ship, and service our products. Role qualifications: * Must be familiar with Company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives. * Focus on design and development. Position responsibilities: * Understand and gain knowledge needed to utilize the software used by electrical designers. i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch controls software, etc. * Assist the electrical design team in creating schematics, parts lists, control panel, and operator station layouts. * Revise and update drawings as needed. * Assist the electrical design team in creating and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, Servo Motion and Network Software. * Assist the electrical design team in creating and troubleshooting Robot programs. * Provide technical assistance to Estimating, Sales, Production and Service as required. * Assist in resolving issues discovered/encountered during system build, debug and shipping. * Provide assistance to other departments (Service, Shop, etc.) as required. * Assist in field installation when necessary. * Assist in creating and assembling Service Manuals. * Work well with Machine builders, Management, and support functions. Essential skills and experience: * High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent is required. * Previous experience typically achieved with 0-2 years' experience in machining, assembly and/or automation. * Computer proficiency, including spreadsheet, word processing, and project management software. Nonessential skills and experience: * Safety (OSHA STDS).
