AutoNation, Inc. Brand Marketing Intern in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position Summary:

Summer intern role to support the execution of brand initiatives and the activation of AutoNation events in conjunction with the AutoNation Brand and Broadcast team.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Directly reports to Brand Manager. Supports projects managed by the following Brand & Broadcast team members:

  • Manager of In-Store Promotions & Events

  • Director of Brand & Retail Development

  • Director of Purpose & Brand Marketing

  • Sr. Director of Sponsorships & Media Services

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

  • Catalog digital assets (50%)

  • Support sponsorship & philanthropic events (30%)

  • Organize elements for brand campaigns (20%)


  • Must meet company’s requirements for employment.

  • Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintained an acceptable, safe driving record.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited institution and in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree

    Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate travel (up to several days per month, as much as 30-50% of the time)

  • Requires on-site management at all approved events

  • Standard office environment
