Our client, a leading provider of Business Process Outsourcing for complex business processes and services, is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the Emergency Response Center supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage stress effectively, and a compassionate approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pay Rate: $19 per hour
What's the Job?
Answer emergency calls promptly and gather critical information from callers.
Dispatch appropriate emergency services (police, fire, medical) to the scene.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to callers in distress.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including monitoring various screens and channels.
Maintain accurate records of information and details provided by callers.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in emergency dispatch or telecommunications are a plus.
Previous experience in emergency dispatch, call center operations, or a related field is preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage stress effectively.
