This is a great opportunity for an Antenna Engineering Technician that will work with our engineers in the design and development of Antenna product.

RESONSIBILITIES:

  • Transition engineering prototypes into production in collaboration with the Engineering team.

  • Perform and troubleshoot various antenna tests, including setting up antenna test sequences and interpreting test data.

  • Build circuit boards, assemble antenna assemblies, and fabricate test fixtures.

  • Support manufacturing by identifying root causes of product failures and maintaining test equipment.

  • Manage the records library of test result data and generate test reports and procedures.

  • Execute test procedures, following all DG safety procedures as per company policies and guidelines from the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Military background, or technical institute program training.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with RF and antennas.

  • Experience setting up antenna test sequences and interpreting test data.

  • Proficiency with network analyzers, amplifiers, antenna test equipment, ohmmeters, and soldering.

  • Familiarity with antenna tuning and Smith Charts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with management, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing employees.

  • Great people skills to be able to interact with effectively with management, engineers, technicians, as well as employees in manufacturing.

  • Experience maintaining and operating antenna test measurement equipment.

  • Experience testing antennas on aircraft is a plus.
