Army Installation Management Command Supervisory Facilities Specialist NF-03 in Fort Knox, Kentucky

Summary This position is located at Fort Knox, KY. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Responsibilities Oversees the operation of the custodial services program within an installation?s Child and Youth Services (CYS) facilities. Plans, develops, and implements procedures to ensure timely, consistent, and effective management of custodial services. Applies a practical knowledge of CYS health and sanitation requirements and ensures facilities maintain established standards. Plans for the use and allocation of workers, equipment, and materials. Manages supply and equipment inventory and maintains hand receipts. Purchases items when needed utilizing a Government Purchase Card. Reviews damage reports and maintenance requests to ensure equipment is in good working order. Responsible for the effective management and supervision of employees to include preparation of staff schedules, development of appropriate performance standards, and identifying training requirements. Provides input to Supervisor in developing program budget and manages operations to budget. Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for additional required custodial services (e.g., deep cleaning, stripping/waxing floors, etc.). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Work experience that provided knowledge in the use of custodial service supplies and inventory, equipment, and quality standards. Experience leading or supervising employees, scheduling, and reviewing completed work. Experience demonstrating customer relations skills through service delivery.
