Responsibilities Manages, plans, and directs the daily operations of a golf course facility to include golf course maintenance. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors including other PGA Professionals. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plan and operating budgets to include Capital Purchase and Minor Construction. Prepares financial and operational briefings as required. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity. Provides and maintains teaching program for patronage at the individual and group levels, to include personal lesson participation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience managing or directing the activities of a golf course. A 4 year college degree in a business related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
