U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia
Summary About the Position: Serves as the Director,Logistics & Materiel Readiness Directorate,Fielded Force Integration Directorate,CASCOM with responsibility for directing,planning, coordinating,and supervising all directorate activities involving analysis, design, development, coordination, integration and execution on behalf of TRADOC for all aspects of Army programs pertaining to Logistics Product Development,Integrated Product Support, System Training Plans, and Training Integration and development Responsibilities Serves as the Director and senior civilian supervisor in the Logistics and Material Readiness Directorate, Fielded Force Integration Directorate (FFID), CASCOM. The incumbent operates within generally prescribed limits, broad policies and programs promulgated by the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and Department of Army (DA) authority. Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of performance and quality of results of operations of the various divisions through analysis of correspondence. Provides technical guidance, research and analytical assistance at the department and higher levels for research or acquisition programs pertaining to broad fields of Logistics Product Development. Provides technical guidance, research and analytical assistance on Integrated logistic support development, and Training Integration and development. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience providing oversight of a Logistics Management program within an organization executing all aspects of Logistics Product Development, Integrated Product Support and Logistics training integration and development. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages Human Resources Oral Communication Product Support Management Training and Training Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
