U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia
Summary About the Position: Serves as the Director, Logistics & Materiel Readiness Directorate, Fielded Force Integration Directorate, Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) with responsibility for directing, planning, coordinating, and supervising all directorate activities involving analysis, design, development, coordination, integration and execution of all aspects of Logistics Product Development, Integrated Product Support and Training Integration and development. Responsibilities Maintain situational awareness of Army and Joint capabilities, programs, integrated logistics product support, and future systems planning and development support. Identify maintenance and Training capability gaps and communicate those gaps to the Director of the Logistics and Materiel Readiness Directorate (LMRD). Initiate personnel actions, such as recruitment, selection, promotion, and disciplining of subordinates. Plan and develop work assignment/schedules associated with assigned projects. Responsible for all integration project management, including estimating implementations and updating operation timelines. Conduct, and/or represent command at conferences, meetings, workshops, reviews or similar activities. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service which includes: identifying requirements, developing statements of work, acquiring funding, submission and management of Army Contracts for LMRD, experience related to providing advice and technical guidance, along with experience in analyzing, assessing, and performing research necessary to identify and synchronize Doctrine, Organizations, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) on the sustainment impacts of current, new, and emerging materiel systems. Experience in Leading a multi-functional team responsible for: (1) maintaining situational awareness of Army and Joint program milestone supportability timelines, required capabilities, integrated logistics product support, as well as future systems planning and logistics product development support to all Army programs; (2) familiar with how Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) and the Army supports Systems Training Plan (STRAP) development methodology; (3) identifying sustainment gaps with emphasis on Maintenance and Training capability gaps and communicating those gaps to the Director of the Logistics and Materiel Readiness Directorate (LMRD); (4) facilitating working relationships with internal and external organizations, directorates and divisions to integrate key concepts for logistics supportability and systems Training requirements of fielded, fielding and emerging systems.
