Army Installation Management Command Bartender NA-03 in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia

Summary This position can be filled throughout the Business Recreation Division at Fort Gregg-Adams: The Gregg-Adams Club, TenStrike Bowling Center, Cardinal Golf Club, HideAway. This is a standing register, applicants will be sent to the hiring manager on a weekly basis as needed. Additional referral lists may be issued at management's request. Responsibilities Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items. Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: *This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Must possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Must have skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. PCS Costs: Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not paid, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials: This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and bonuses: Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials (on OCONUS Template, will read as "Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials): Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
