[CONSTRUCTION LABORER *[Definition:[ Entry-level laborer with minimal skill and experience level. - Any manual labor task as directed by a supervisor or foreman.
- Excavating and shaping of earth.
- Placing concrete and assisting cement finishers.
- Backfilling operations with earth, gravel, and sand.
- Operation of pneumatic equipment such as jackhammers, bush hammers, etc.
- Operation of two-cycle and four-cycle equipment such as wacker-packers, concrete saws, chain saws, pumps, generators, etc.
- Tool pick-up, transport, and storage.
- Assist other workers as required.
- Perform general demolition of all types of building construction.
- Perform general cleanup at job sites.
- Follow oral instructions.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
[Qualifications: [Basic Knowledge of:[ principles, procedures and terminology used in the construction trade; tools and materials used in carpentry; methods and procedures used in building construction; materials and equipment used in carpentry trades; occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
