HP Inc. Senior Manager, Software Engineering in Fort Collins, Colorado

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead, coach, and inspire our global software development teams located in the United States, Brazil, and India. This role involves overseeing the creation and continual enhancement of software applications that are integral to every new HP PC with the focus on AI solutions and services. The scope of responsibilities will broaden over time to match HP's product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of engineers to deliver high-quality software that aligns with HP's hardware innovations.

  • Manage all phases of software development from inception to deployment and support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software releases with hardware schedules.

  • Drive the strategic planning and execution of software solutions across multiple platforms.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and accountability within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a global setting.

  • Proven experience in software development and project management.

  • Experience with modern software application development tools and technologies

  • Hands-on experience with issue tracking and requirements management tools

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams.

  • Experience aligning software development processes with hardware production cycles is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
