Numerica Corporation Radar Software Engineer in Fort Collins, Colorado

What You Will Do

Use your expertise and ideas to help shape the direction of a dynamic, mission-oriented, radar development team.

Collaborate with fellow engineers and scientists to build and deploy the high-performance software that powers our Spyglass radar product.

Engage with our customers to understand their needs and ensure successful outcomes for their missions.

Effectively communicate with both colleagues and customers, so they understand what you're doing and why.

Recommended Background and Experience

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field, with a record of academic excellence.

4+ years of work experience in the software engineering field, including demonstrated experience with:

Software development using multiple languages,

Development in a collaborative team environment,

Radar signal processing or image processing.

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

GPU programming with CUDA,

Secure boot and trusted execution environments,

Custom Linux kernel and driver development,

Software development for defense customers,

DevSecOps and Continuous ATO.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey salient details about advanced technology in a compelling manner to both experts and non-experts alike.

Compensation

The total annual compensation range for this role is $151,400 - $222,400, depending on relevant prior experience. In addition to base salary, the total annual compensation range includes an estimated cash bonus of 11% of salary and an estimated Numerica stock award of either $30,000 (for Level 2) or $50,000 (for Level 3), all of which can vary with company and team performance. U.S. Citizenship Required

Due to the nature of the work performed at Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, this requires that a candidate be a U.S. citizen with a personal history indicating trustworthiness, reliability, and sound judgment (e.g., clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).
