UCHealth Physical Therapist Traveler Pelvic Floor in Fort Collins, Colorado

Location: UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp, US:CO:Fort Collins

Department: Out-patient Physical Therapy and Rehab Clinic

  • Experience in pelvic floor therapy. Preference to candidate that can treat male and female urine/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and skilled in the use of biofeedback

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $51.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles

13 week assignments available - extension options

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist

  • 1-year experience

  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

Job Duties:

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

  • Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.

  • Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

  • Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards

  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and take appropriate action. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
