Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Fort Collins, Colorado
Description We are offering a role in the finance industry, located in FORT COLLINS, Colorado, United States. The position is for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be responsible for various accounting functions. The role is a contract position and will require proficiency in several software systems and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain full charge of bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiently use accounting software systems for various financial tasks
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Handle billing functions effectively and efficiently
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites for data management and reporting
• Maintain the general ledger and make necessary journal entries
• Use Sage Accounting Software for financial tasks and reporting
• Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding account statuses and transactions Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites.
• Demonstrated ability to handle all Accounting Functions.
• Previous experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations.
• Experience with Billing Functions is essential.
• Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software.
• Solid understanding of the General Ledger.
• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries.
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required.
• Must have a strong work ethic, high level of integrity, and be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
