Army Installation Management Command Financial Readiness Program Manager in Fort Bliss, Texas

Summary About the Position: Incumbent will serve as Supervisory Financial Readiness Manager with full authority to plan, organize, direct, staff, carry out, review and evaluate the overall operation of the Garrison Financial Readiness Programs at a large or medium garrison. Works under the general supervision of the Army Community Service (ACS) Director who provides general guidance on program policy and objectives. Responsibilities Prioritize programs, program changes and client support operations in terms of user needs and affordability. Review activities and programs to ensure the financial programs are operated in the most efficient manner and provide the best possible services. Analyze program workload, the achievement of objectives and goals, and the total cost of each program, quality of performance, community and public response and satisfaction. Measure established program performance standards and objectives, customer relations and satisfaction, personnel utilization and cost limitations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes financial readiness programs and consumer advocacy services that offer a variety of education and counseling services to help clients with their financial affairs. Providing financial counseling, assistance with programs granting emergency financial assistance, and briefing a variety of audiences on financial readiness programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. One year Supervisory probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
