As a highly valued member of the Dallas, TX Team, this role will manage the international area of the distribution center to coordinate and control the flow of materials, from the receipt of purchased materials to the shipment of products to meet delivery schedules.
AS AN EXPORT SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:
Supervise hourly employees, utilizing strong interpersonal skills
Ensure all staff are properly trained and understand all goals and objectives
Plan and direct international warehouse activities to ensure timely and accurate receiving and shipment to achieve customer delivery promptly
Ensure supplies and equipment necessary for operation are available and operational
Have an in-depth understanding of the warehouse management system and inventory systems to ensure the proper flow of inventory and maintain inventory accuracy
Work with the Distribution Center Manager, the export operations team, and material analysts to ensure financial and operational objectives are met
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Other duties/projects as assigned by the DC Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Two-year degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
1-2 years supervisory experience
3 years of warehouse experience
Effective communication skills
Demonstrate problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with MS Office Suite, and Enterprise Resource Program such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management preferred
Excellent communication skills in English / Spanish
Knowledge of ISO QMS
Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
SCHEDULE:
This is a first shift position with general working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
LOCATION:
This role will help support our new distribution center in Forney, TX. The address is 13871 E US Highway 80 Frontage Road, Forney, TX 75126.
