LAKELAND CARE Network Relations Supervisor in FOND DU LAC, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under the supervision of the Network Relations Manager, the Network Relations Supervisor (NRS) provides day-to-day supervision of Lakeland Care, Inc.'s (LCI) Provider Specialists. In addition, this position assists in the development of establishing strong partnerships with new and existing service providers, community agencies and community representatives to ensure an adequate provider network for members. This position is also responsible for analyzing and approving negotiated rates for contracted service providers, ensuring that the Network Relations staff are consistently adhering to the established policies and procedures and recommending modification to existing practice. This position will be based out of either the Oshkosh or Green Bay office. This position has a multi-county focus and works closely with the Network Relations Manager to ensure all LCI Network Relations staff communicate a consistent and cohesive message to providers and staff at all LCI branch offices. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Support the Network Relations division by supervising and providing guidance to Provider Specialist staff and ensure adherence to the organization's policies, procedures, best practices, and State and Federal regulations. Ensure performance standards are met. Establish formal means of accountability, provide adequate direction, advise of job responsibilities, provide regular performance feedback, and support staff in developing their career. Provide consultative guidance to Provider Specialists related to day-to-day issues and questions. Assist Provider Specialists in difficult rate negotiations and involve the Network Relations Manager when necessary. Analyze and approve rates and rate changes on service provider contracts/addendums and amendments to contracts/addendums. Oversee and manage the relationship and process of Private Adult Family Home Certifications including oversight of any subcontracted entity. Responsible for reviewing, updating and improving the Network Relations Best Practices on a quarterly basis. Develop and execute plans to ensure an adequate network, work with Provider Specialists to ensure proactive solicitation of new providers and develop resources to ensure adequate capacity to meet the changing needs of current and/or projected members of Lakeland Care. Assist in supporting LCI with new/modified DHS contract requirements that pertain to subcontractors. Attend professional meetings such as community provider association meetings, and others as assigned. Train/update other members of the Network Relations team as appropriate. In collaboration with the Network Relations Manager, propose, create and carryout the training of Network Relations staff and our external provider network, in addition, collaborate with staff from other departments to create and provide training for those affected by new or changed policies and procedures. Work with Network Relations Manager and Network Relations Assistant to schedule and coordinate annual Provider Conferences and periodic Provider Forums as deemed necessary. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a human service or business-related field, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. One (1) year of supervisory experience is preferred. One (1) year of experience working with the LCI's target populations preferred. Knowledge of the service provider industry, subcontracting, and licensing and regulatory systems; and knowledge of provider network contracting in a managed care model preferred. Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills are required. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities required. Experience, training, skills and/or aptitude in the following area are desired: mediation and negotiations; analyzing and interpreting data for strategic planning and system implementation; and addressing groups, administering training and giving presentations.
