Position Summary:The Administrative Support Specialist is a crucial role by ensuring service for our customer is executed timely and efficiently. You will fulfill various general administrative duties, as well as some specialized support based on the department that you support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide multi-line phone coverage and office assistance to federal personnel.

  • Arrange travel, process travel vouchers, manage timekeeping and calendars.

  • Purchasing and reimbursement

  • Event support preparation and coordinating

  • Provide meeting or conference support, note taking and coordination.

  • Coordinate resource management and scheduling.

  • Maintain and distribute staff work schedules.

  • Conduct mail processing and distribution.

  • Maintain and update intranet sites.

  • Compile labor report data.

  • Provide administrative support for various site programs and departments.

  • Assist with tracking and reporting data.

  • Manage tracking of controlled keys and access cards, and coordinate with site security.

  • Assist with conducting audits and reporting results.

  • Perform document duplication and processing, as well as form maintenance.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • High School diploma or equivalent some college preferred.

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have strong typing and note taking skills

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite and standard office equipment.

  • Must possess a strong understanding of Microsoft excel.
