Texas Health Resources RN/Registered Nurse- Labor and Delivery, Full time, Nights in Flower Mound, Texas

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Fast-paced, high-volume women’s department is looking for top skilled RN. Is that you?

Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028

Work hours: Part-time, working the night shift

Here’s What You Need

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or

  • Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred

  • 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required

  • 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is highly preferred

  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days Required And

  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days Required

  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days Required and

  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days Required And

  • IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring if newly hired with experience in perinatal nursing AND never taken IFM within 6 Months Required Or

  • IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring if no experience in perinatal nursing within 18 Months Required And

  • AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring after six months of working with EFM 18 Months Required

Skills

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

As a L&D nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care.
